Dandy Lion Press is small letterpress print studio based in San Francisco's Mission District which creates whimsical and highly detailed stationery featuring flora and fauna both real and imaginary. We use vintage presses and custom made plates and each card is hand fed through the press. This creates subtle variations between each printed piece, thus showing their handmade, not machine-made origins. We don't believe in clip art and we love the look of hand drawn. All our imagery is either pen and ink illustrations or linoleum cuts. These designs are created exclusively for Dandy Lion Press and can not be found elsewhere.
